Our story
Designed for patients.
Safer medication management without guesswork.
Our mission
Eliminate preventable medication waste for the 3.6 million Americans who self-administer biologics at home.
Biologic medications are among the most effective treatments in modern medicine — and among the most fragile. A single temperature excursion can render a $2,000 dose ineffective, leaving patients without treatment and families facing impossible financial decisions. This is why we created SaluTemp.
Founding story
It started with a ruined dose.
In 2022, our founder's friend — a patient on a biologic for rheumatoid arthritis — discovered that a month's supply of medication had been compromised because of a power outage in the summer heat. The medication was ruined.
After searching for a solution and finding nothing purpose-built for patients, our founder assembled a team of engineers, clinicians, and industry experts to build one.
Today, SaluTemp is a precision temperature management device designed from the ground up for the realities of home self-administration — compact, connected, and built around the patient experience.
What we stand for
Our values
Patient first
Every design decision starts with the patient. We build for the person injecting at home, not the hospital supply chain.
Radical transparency
We believe patients deserve complete information about their medication's condition — not just a green light, but a full history.
Relentless precision
Temperature management is not a feature. It is the product. We hold ourselves to clinical-grade accuracy standards.
Accessible by design
SaluTemp should work for every patient, regardless of technical ability, age, or circumstance. Simplicity is a safety feature.
